a) Therefore, as you consider the diagram of your past problem-event and the way each of the parties related to each other, can you also describe the way they behaved or functioned?

b) What role would you say each is playing?

c) Who do they seem most like as they act out their roles?

d) Can you recall any roles from literature, the movies, television, or mythology that are similar to those roles you described in the diagram?

e) Can you see when and how you play out similar roles in your life?

f) Can you tell, or distinguish, when you play this or that role?

Note: Sometimes it may seem that some roles are better than others but,

is it not likely that any role is an act and should be avoided?


g) However, if there is a family role you might like to play out, which one would it be? Why?

h) And who would get your old role? Why?

i) In what way does playing that role seem better than not playing any role at all?
